I’m amazed how many people are still underestimating the damage...

I’m amazed how many people are still underestimating the damage a 6 if not 9-12 month shut down will do! Travel is the first to feel the pain but every retailer bar staples will go bust, most of the trades will struggle greatly like builders, plumbers, electricians etc. Massive flow on impacts to food and hospitality, plant nurseries, childcare, mechanics, hair and beauty, gift shops etc - if they are still doing much business it will be greatly diminished.

The government can’t even come close to bailing this out and it is also questionable how they pick to bail out Qantas but probably won’t most others? How does that work??
