Unfortunately, the death rate or age bracket is not really what people are worried about.
The issue with a global pandemic is people start to go out less. They spend less. They travel less. Tourism struggles significantly. Small business struggles. Entire sectors will be affected. Delays with importing/exporting occurs through shipping and air transport. Many work places are will start tightening up and jobs will be lost. Etc etc etc
You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to know that the economy will take a massive hit if this Coronavirus isn’t sorted ASAP!
