    if a child is excluded they would still be entitled to the CCS as each child is allowed 42 days allowable absenses per year.If a child exceeds this number of absenses, a medical certificate will be required, the centre would adjust, through the software settings, the additional absenses allowed and have the CCS paid for these extra days.

    The other concern would be if staff had to be excluded and replacements could not be sourced. Would the regulatory body
    allow a centre to operate if they were unable to meet the NQS required staff to child ratio?
