yes so many hands touching mushrooms and capsicum (if you can get 'em)...

wash everything that others have touched. covid survives up to 72 hours on plastics, so wash your plastic wrapping too.

Any detergent that breaks down fats will denature the layer that protects the virus and make it unviable.

I would suggest dishwashing liquid would be more effective than soap due to its lipophilic action (breaks down fats).
