It is only killing .5-1% of those that catch it and It is mainly taking out unhealthy old blokes how is that a bad thing? Could save the public health system a lot over the long term.
It is way over-hyped but will run through this country like a hot knife through butter due to its high transmission rate and ability to survive on hard surfaces and unlike china where they have a very proactive containment strategy and compliant population, we have a she'll be right/no govt strategy and a don't tell me what to do attitude; it will go viral!
The ICU nurse I was talking to the other day (she was Chinese) said the hospital will not allow them to where masks or put masks on people being tested for fear of panicking people. So it will be a matter of if not when. Even though it is apparently a genetically stable virus the main danger is mutation so best get it early and renders some immunity to latter strains. Good luck all off to get supplies for my bunker.
