At this stage I do not believe that PACT will attempt to buy out PPG.
PPG has just raised a huge amount of equity and debt, so I suspect that they are about to acquire something of a number of somethings.
The most likely senario is that PPG rids it's rigid manufacturing network by selling it to PACT who are a great deal more efficient and have the manufacturing scale. This would be a win win for PPG & PACT and would further strengthen PPG's "Distributor" Status.
Not sure what PPG will buy as now NCI is off the radar with Tyrell taking it private.
