Vencorp, the Vic State regulator, mentioned in 'The Age', that the deal with STO was close to $1 billion for a period of 10 years (or $100m/yr). Sales from LT represent 10% of Victoria's consumption. Also mentioned was the cost of linking LT to Santos PB hub, wouldn't be more then $150m.
So apprx A$1b for 350 PJ gives a transaction multiple of $2.85/GJ. Not bad at all.
