I guess NWT really just wants the Cash and wants it now ! (as they probably have their own projects starting in the not too distant future)
So they dont care if maybe ( very likely as we know ;-) )they could get double or triple of that money in 12 or 18 months.
So the Canadians are trying to take advantage of their very strong position as 35 % shareholders of URU. IMO they are very likely to be successful there.After all most PIs will find the idea of getting EXT shares (instead of being invested in a company,that is invested in KAH,that is invested in EXT) very apealing. The second vote should be more difficult,but again from the votes that seem to be clear in this case NWT/URU/RIO have a clear advantage over the shareholders who would probably vote against them (mainly Dattels via Polo and then EML and RegPAC). Cant say anything about KAHs other major shareholders though,but will be very interesting to watch in the next couple of weeks.
But one thing is for sure,the boring times should be a thing of the past ;-)
