Amazed that folks believe in the paid appointment of "independent" law firms to manage this governance crisis that has sparked an uncontrollable fire. Guess many have forgotten how the GFC unfolded with credit rating agencies taking their fees from the biggest banks to stamp "investable" products triple A rated in what unfolded to be almost catastrophic to the world; albeit they knew what they were doing allegedly ... taking from the poor to give to the rich.
As for the guidance updates. This will be another fugazi in tomorrow's updated numbers. Four independent directors including the chairman not wanting any involvement further over someone who appears maniacal to remain in power despite what the directors' duties require and advice? Go figure, so much more to unfold, it's not funny. I pray for all those who will ultimately be victim to such crime. There will be many to pay the price. Not just of those who are directors, but all else involved, employees that will be held liable. A real shame for what was supposed to be an iconic beacon of success for Australia.
