While there's nothing concrete, it wouldn't surprise me to see someone wanting to takeover PEN in the near term
These bull runs tend to see more takeovers/ M&A occur than when sentiment is low.
Everyone in the uranium space knows that months from now, U companies will all be valued much higher, hence a takeover is more likely sooner rather than later.
PEN is a lot more "de-risked" compared to other U companies (explorers and developers), is the only one approved for acidic ISR in the US, has constant revenue coming in, etc, making it a more attractive proposition. Also it is still valued less than some other companies with higher market caps that are not as advanced.
I remember the recent Crux interview where Wayne refused to comment on a possible takeover from enCore Energy when he was asked.
We know enCore Energy is interested in ISR projects in the US, shown by their takeover of Azarga last month.
enCore have stated they want to become the leading ISR producer in the US, so can definitely see them interested in PEN.
Would not surprise me to see LAM (or some other US uranium company) bid for PEN in the near future.
