It would seem that there would be an element of self-interest by Qantas in promoting the safety of (international) air travel.

It is now very clear that the manufacture and development of vaccines, relevant to Australia, are important to the company's business.

Yet it seems that Qantas has taken no interest in ensuring that capital investment, financial and human, is allocated in that direction.

Is this what Shareholders want to see in the future ?

I appreciate that the Company has a lot on its plate near-term.

However there will be a time when past sponsorships are reconsidered.

I hope that it sees it's self-interests in a different light.
