Hi Tinwins, I am on grid and have read about some of the failed solar schemes especially in US and Spain.
In Germany they do not have desert sand or high temperatures, or a lack of water either, but on the other hand they do not have a lot of sun.
Location matters. Solar is suitable for some places, but not the Australian outback.
