Haven't held CER for a while, but well done to the long-termers.
IMO what the $ rising will do is help clear out the hedge liability, which will remove a futre cash liability from the balance sheet. It will also mean that the value of the US portfolio will decrease as the A$ rises (if valuations remain the same). This is not a bad thing at present as the US debt will also fall in $A terms and the only covenants in the US are ICR based.
I think (remebering one a Defabstar's) old posts, is that CER entered some currency hedges when the $A was low against the US. This should be a big win if the $A holds IMO.
Defabstar is probably in a coma given the $A. Goodluck to all holders, hope you make alot more.
