Yeah I guess they are jealous. I count my lucky blessings every day. Great thing about trading is that for me its a part-time job. It suits me right now since I can do as little or as much as I want.
I'm a Business Analyst by trade and have done contracting work too. To fill in the time between work I started trading about 3 yrs ago. Haven't looked back since.
Still hard explaining this to 9-5ers though (my friends are MBA students, Drs, some pretty hard working and some senior white collars). They think I'm a bludger... can't blame 'em... if I didn't try trading for myself I'd probably say the same.
