The $3.57 CBA corrected from last night's close is exactly equal to the $2.50 dividend grossed up with franking credits.

The low today was down $5.69 from yesterday's high & today's close is down $5.31 from the high.

Buying at today's close is equal to having bought @ $139.60 cum-div. only the next dividend will be the interim & it will be lower than the current final dividend.

Taking the above into account, I would expect the share price to fall. Technically, buying ex-div will not set a new high until over $144.91 which makes the current low $9.26 under the $141.34 high + div + franking.

I have sold 82.5% of my holding in my SMSF & bought back 23% in my own name @ $126.85.
