Irrational exuberance, Alan Greenspan could not have said it any better.
Lokk what happened in 1987 after he used that remark. The U.S. markets, followed by Australia, crashed. The Australian share price index (SPI) fell from 2404 to 2000 then fell 25% overnight to open at 1500 then continued falling to 1054. The U.S. Dow Jones also fell 25% overnight.
The Australian SPI overall, fell over 56%. Can history repeat itself.
