Based on my purchase price, assuming the final dividend is around $2.15, then CBA earns 10.25% return for me total value (including franking credit).
There's zero motivation to sell.
Compared to people buying today getting 4.67%. So I don't see the motivation to buy, but I didn't see it at $100 either.
Since I have owned these shares they have paid me in dividend and franking credits 38.4% of purchase price and the cap gain is +119%
Read this to mean that this stock is being used as a way to float your wealth on the inflation river for when you can't afford/justify buying property to do the same thing.
