correlation of gold producer stocks with etf

I recently made a quick analysis, comparing a global Gold Producer ETF GDX with Troy. It seems like the falling of SP is not specific to one company, but as a global overall sentiment on this sector.

In addition, an article from Minyanville states that we are right now on an important support level. If we can bound off this level, then we should be safe, else, I may consider exit my holdings on all gold producer sector.
