    I believe that company used the wrong terminology... It is actually impressed current cathodic protection (ICCP) instead of "imposed current cathodic protection". ICCP generally require an AC/DC supply to drive the anodes to protect the immersed steel surfaces. In this case, I wouldn't recommend CWE to go with ICCP, but instead a sacrificial anode cathodic protection (SACP) system should be applied. SACP is widely used for standalone platforms, ships and boats. Since they have routine maintenance to get these pods back once in a while, i believe the pods have sacrificial anodes installed on them already. Otherwise, i can always provide them a quote.
