The problem, IMO, is that the hairies were not only vocal but could muster up several hundred supporters at what appears to have short notice.
The print press and electronic media love getting their teeth into hype. Sells papers and viewers thus, more advertising dollars as a result.

We are resigned to talking to each other via HC.
However, we need to take a stand as we are the victims in this whole sorry saga.
We need to make OUR voices heard and facts disclosed as Mumby has done in his/her factual letter.
We need to engage a good investigative journalist from one of the Sydney
TV stations to expose the real facts and Anthony Roberts' true reason for ambushing Mel at such short notice.
The smell of ICAC should be a lure as Anthony Roberts name has been mentioned in ICAC papers , something about taking a cruise on a developer's boat. Gazel I think.
No use trying to request an interview with him as he would tell his secretary to tell me to buzz off. He comes across as being very arrogant.
His arrogant, caviler attitude does not cut with us. We are after him full throttle.
