On a side note - about the marches today, it must be galling, if you’re Bill Shorten, to find Labor’s most successful modern leaders Bob Hawke and Paul Keating publicly repudiating your entire political strategy by calling to urgently restore the federal budget to health.
What we're seeing is a modern political class unwilling to stand up and do the unpopular - didn't anyone learn anything from Greece.
Mel will drill again and those who can drive thousands of miles to get to a protest will be kicked off the disability pension.
