It is unlikely that MacFarlane can do much. It's a State issue.

A great budget saving for the country would be to reduce the level of governance in this country and abolish the States; and concurrently rid AJ's influence over NSW politicians.

Now this is a movement that we should have....but I can only dream.

With the State Premiers bleating about health and education funding cuts, there is no mention of the looming gas shortages on the East Coast, the demise of industry and skyrocketing unemployment. What political stability will we have then?

I see that there is another March against Government planned for August with 2000 people viewing the Lismore page. Last week's events mobilised their confidence.

With Australia in fear of disappearing down the gurgler; and with NSW as the hairy armpit of Australia, I am contemplating a move to NZ where I will watch MEL from afar.
