Don't you get it Vertigo? There are a lot of things that bother us about the world. I'm sure there are numerous financial instruments by which the Catholic Church 'covertly' siphons a few shekels out my my wallet in every day Australian life. I really don't care that much about it. Similarly I am not particularly worried about Halal. Unless the money is much, much, larger than I think it is.
What I am worried about though, is powerful politicians getting up and stating that their Holy Book is to be the foundation of our law. When a person does that, be they Christian, Hindu, Buddhist or Islamic, then you will hear my shrill objections. I cannot make this any clearer.
