PEXA IN-SPECIE DISTRIBUTION - REMITTANCE OF SALE FACILITY PROCEEDS TO SELLING SHAREHOLDERS AND INELIGIBLE OVERSEAS SHAREHOLDERS

Link Administration Holdings Limited (ASX: LNK) (Link Group) is pleased to advise that the sale of all ordinary shares in PEXA Group Limited (ASX: PXA) (PEXA) required to be sold under the sale facility established by Link Group in connection with the in-specie distribution of Link Group’s shareholding in PEXA to Link Group shareholders (the Distribution) has been completed.

The average sale price achieved under the sale facility was A$12.414401 per PEXA share.

Proceeds are expected to be remitted to Ineligible Overseas Shareholders and Selling Shareholders (as applicable) by 30 January 2023 (but in any case no later than eight weeks from the Distribution) in accordance with the process outlined in the explanatory memorandum lodged with ASX on 22 November 2022 and made available to Link Group shareholders.

The release of this announcement was authorised by the Link Group CEO & Managing Director.

No, this does not help.
This only advises the sale price LINK got for the shares they had to sell for shareholders that did not get a distribution of shares (mainly overseas).
There is nothing anywhere to say what the cost base of the PXA shares are, for the shareholders that got them, me included.
So if I want to sell them on market now, I dont know what my capital gain or loss is.
