    Hi Simon,

    Welcome to the HC Forum.

Do I take it that your presence here might be indicative of a possible change in Company direction, going back to that held previously? Perhaps your Tasmanian experience indicated that Redflow batteries actually are suitable for residential use, being more suitable than any alternatives on the market, subject to the correct pricing point?

I have recently installed 48 solar panels, together with 8 x 6 volt lead acid batteries and a Selectronic SPPro Inverter. My average quarterly electricity bill had been over $1000, my most recent bill was $45. I am being paid 15c/kw fed back to the grid and I'm guessing that my lead acid batteries will last for about 3 years. My question is: Do you think you will be able to make a cost - benefit case for me (in consideration of my solar setup) to change over to Redflow batteries within the next three years?

    Cheers, bd
