I was setting up to export magnetite to Indonesia from that port. Cost of ore was a fraction of what China was ripping off the Indonesians. However, the small volumes meant the ore has to be containerized 20 tonne lots.
Dumb Australian law says it has to go via Port of Melbourne. Adds $1,000 per container. Turns 50% profit into 10% loss. Hopefully Riley are not caught up in that rubbish.
