Even more astonishing for me was looking at all the reo before the concrete was poured, the steel was so dense that if they were using the old style washed river gravel aggregate the rocks would have had trouble fitting between the bars. Another interesting point is that they always have 2 concrete pumps working to pour each base because it has to be a continuous pour. 2 pumps means that if one has a breakdown and can't continue the other one can finish the job and the pour doesn't have to be aborted.
