Right now the right wing are succeeding at "sending the economy down the toilet" through inaction on the economy. Even without the bushfires, floods and COVID we have been heading into recession with exploding debt, massively increased spending, reduced economic stimulus through the impoverishment of the poorest in the community, 16% under-employment and the erosion of wages and conditions means far less churn money and GST revenue.
RBA has been asking the Govt for over 2 years to increase fiscal stimulus with no response from the Govt.
