the position is getting a pay rise ------------ Moystan isn't - because they aren't in the job yet

personally, I think a job where the office has the power to sack the PM and hence government - is a tad underpaid in the $400 k range

That's many doctors pay and half baked consultants ---------- I suggest the GG is a tad higher up the tree than that
