    lantana...

Are you sure Smythe was not simply confirming the fact the original deal (US$1.3m cash and 50% of the NPV of 20% of Matanda), was changed to US$2.5m cash plus 50% of the NPV of 20% of Matanda in shares equivalent?

Where I stand, it looks like the new deal announced for another 27.5% of Turnberry, was with a separate owner of that company (the one they were previously in "concert parties" with), and is a completely separate matter to the previous arrangement.

In all reality however, I do suspect the whole deal is being arranged in tandem, with the final acquisition cost to get 40% of this project...eventually consiting of a mix of payment regimes, both cash and shares, expensive and cheap...in order to arrive at a predetermined price/ownership structure.

Regardless of how you stack it however, the common denominator is always for the key supporters to increase the CVI share price...both for the scrip acquisition and indeed the raising of funds for eventual development.

Meanwhile, the price may well be a joke...but like many good jokes, we have to accept that not everyone gets it straight away.

I get it however...and not only am I holding my shares, I am also holding my stomach from laughing so hard.

Will probably see a Catabola announcement soon...I wonder what the hold up is?

    Cheers!
