I totally agree. I am in the anaesthetic business with a little knowledge re the kidney system. I presume if I was told that my test was positive to 87% that I will be on dialysis in the next 4 years I would lose weight get my blood pressure in optimal state. I must ask my colleagues in the business what can be done to prevent further deterioration in the kidney function. Health departments would be interested in the figures to help plan for future dialysis. If taking an ACE inhibitor as well as an angiotensin blocker to preserve kidney function to a non dialysis state it would be worth million in prevention for the health budget and mandatory testing would be very cost effective so as to limit the dialysis population. $50 dollars well spent for the test and $5 for PIQ world wide.
