The destruction of what was left of this already declining economy is criminal.
A surgeon doesn't amputate a leg to save a toe. Neither does an artilleryman shoot grape shot into a crowd when a single individual is the target!
This is giddy governance at its worst; megalomania without restraint.
Almost every policy that comes out of those parliaments carries a common thread: punish the people. And it doesn't matter how severe that punishment is, the people will always be stupid enough to re-elect them again and again; poor stupid peoples; gluttons for punishment and indifferent to their own good!
