IMO fuel is a cheap product all things considered...exploration and refining. The loading is from excise duty and taxes. And by the way, how come we have excise duty AND GST, isn't that a double dip when GTS was mean to level the field?
But, leaving the above aside, fuel prices and their fluctuations from day to day is the biggest manipulation scam around. It's free enterprise so why not admit it without the con. If a certain day of the week is always the cheapest they why the lies. And prices are loaded on long weekends. And regardless of the price already paid for fuel in storage tanks the bowser price increases.
