Hey guys, can anyone help me out? Im trying to get my head around Costs per tonne for new hope based on the FY23 Annual Report.
.What is actually in the Unit cost of sales for Free on Board? (page 18). We know it includes trade coal and royalties as they are broken out but what about the underlying?
.In the breakdown of expenses (page 94) they indicate for ‘cost of sales’ that there are mining costs, non mining costs, employee expenses, depreciation and amortisation and some care and maintenance for new acland. but the totals dont match except for royalties and trade coal. (is this is because these costs include gas, qbh, pastoral? or is it because its cash costs not accrural?)
therefore:

- does anyone know exactly whats included in the costs per tonne and what is not?
- does anyone have a source for the details?
.(Im trying to do a comparison across the australian coal miners. willing to share )
