Norbeto, even the word "expected" as well as the terrible phrasing: "expected to be complete in Q1" is a failure. A failure to proclaim a CONCRETE deadline and STICK to it. This is not clear language, it's the kind of ambiguous language that the market hates and loves to punish.
That is the mark of a terrible CEO, and hallmark of subpar management.
A competent CEO would say "This review WILL be completed by end of Q1 and will be released to the market by end of April 2023." That's clear, unambiguous language, full of confidence. Makes you think this CEO is a go-getter, and someone who actually accomplishes goals, not someone who daydreams about rolling himself down to the buffet line.
