    An unfortunate error by the Captain and apparently abandoning a sinking ship too.

    The last line of the post ;

    Carnival also said it was likely the ship would remain out of service for the duration of the financial year, if not longer.

    I take it that means the ship can be salvaged and re-floated. That I would like to see.
