under takeover offer and have said any dividend deducted from offer to a max of 4c (ie 3.20-4c). they should pay a divi on the settlement as the franking credits not much use to foreign cos. but........ the offer is not finalised and the bidder has already shown themselves to be hard - may to try yet a lower bid. this still has many months to play out
