The appalling tragedy Australia now faces is that it inherited a beautiful and well loved family ball gown which was still wearable and would pass muster at any assembly -

then someone's come along and spitefully thrown a huge bottle of indelible ink over the whole thing - pride, arrogance, and sneering being their modus operandi - and their motto always being "destroy something good just because we have the power and we can" - and now the laundress will have to spend ages scrubbing, just trying to remove the vicious stain.

All her other mending and chores piling up, unattended, as she tries to rectify the immense damage. Everyone on her back to try harder - and asking why can't she get it out this entrenched stain - and why can't she hurry up about it!

This is the fate which, sadly, is in store for Australia's future restoration by (supposedly) this current Opposition, striving to restore something like it's former glory, for all our sakes. Who would want to take on this now well poisoned chalice?

It's the damage being done - and there's what, 16 more months of it to go?

Thanks Messrs. Windsor and Oakeshott. If this is YOUR idea of (choosing for us!) the "better" team to give us "stable" and "good" government, I'd hate to have to live through the experience of anything resembling your version, then, of complete and utter chaos.

You two are a national disgrace, And worse, you're laughing defiantly in all our faces whilst you hold off, doing what's right, bringing Australia to it's knees, defiantly holding us all to ransom. All for the sake of your own self-preservation. Apart from this "government", you should each be sackable in this circumstance - and we must all ask - why aren't they - all of them, now, sackable?
