Hi molonski,

I dont mind costello, i think hes been a bit hamstrung personally, i think he would have run the country a lot different to howard even though he is involved with hr nicholls society.
His brother tim seems to be a great man and my understanding is peter holds a lot of tims values but howard has dictated the way he wanted things to be run.
I also think downer is a reasonable man and even turnbull and hockey to a lesser extent....the rest of them I dont have much respect for.

I agree costello would have been a better pick if howard was to to have stepped down 12 months ago but not in the current climate, he could have had his own policies not howards and shows his own future direction for the country, howard has no direction left it seems and hasnt had one for quite some time except for maybe the demise of unions, more IR changes and nuclear power and to show no support to anything that doesnt meet his christian values.

Also agreed Howard looks to be going the same way as thatcher did

I didnt see the 7.30 report interview by the way either .
