Costello has little hope now , because he has recieved no time to show his " true colours " ( I got shouted down for saying that the other night ) , but I think there is a bit of his brother in his character , yes he has an unfortunate type of smile , but he has shown much more of a social conscience than Howard .
Turnball is a gifted individual ( refer crazy john thread) ..to have 400 mil , and want to be in parliament speaks for itself , plus prepared to push for a republic . I wanted that in 1978 ..and here we are in 2007 !
Downer , yes a lot smarter I think than he sometimes appears .
I think its dissapointing the party has not been remotely progressive . The Libs look like a football side that that is still trying to play Gary Ablett SNR .. one more season Gaz .
Dont think Rudd is that good , but certainly an improvement , he appears clever , fresh ideas . I really cant see them loosing , but I do worry about the future front bench . Maybe my concerns are not Warranted ???
