My dear cortis, it seems you don't read many posts very carefully. Quite a few of us have expressed doubts over Rudd, in particular, his failure to clearly distinguish the Labor party policies from those of the Libs. That said, however, there can be little doubt that the overwhelming sentiment on all threads in this forum has been a distaste for Howard and a desire to see him replaced one way or another.
Many of us feel similar distaste for others in the Howard ministry who have DEMONSTRATED their poor faith to the Australian public by their dishonesty, stupidity, subterfuge or just pure heartlessness.
When it comes to Alexander Downer, we have only to remember the AWB scandal and his ""apparent"" lack of knowldege that this country was dealing with the same people it was supposed to be at war with. What a sad joke that was...nuff said...
