I convinced myself I was a communist in my teens. For a very short while. It seemed awfully glamourous - and daring!

But I soon grew out of that when I delved further into the reality. And of course I had no idea!!

The idea of divvying everything up equally seemed to make huge sense when I was sixteen. Sounded good on paper. But I really had no clue what the reality was.
Or the brutality involved ewith the regime.

Many of us are radical rebels in our youth - in one direction or another! Our parents cop the brunt of our rebellion - poor souls!
