Old fashioned perhaps and future generations in consideration, but resource rich with incredibly talented people, Australia should not be at this point, economically with unprecedented debt, deliberate social divisiveness, in neglect of its application of technology and embracing and profiting from global trends, defence capabilities and foreign failures. The list is not inexhaustible. However optimistically, there appears to be a recognition by the populace that regardless who is to blame, the status quo cannot continue.
