I honestly don't know. there certainly are enough reports with 2035 deaths connected to robodebt, but no suicides are due exclusively to one single issue so its very easy to either include extra deaths or exclude if you want to reduce numbers for a range of reasons.

l;ike I said above billy even the suicide rate is dubious. and many don't require coroners investigation so there's often enough a lack of connection to causation.

but I have known many people living in poverty through my career and yes such a letter could certainly drive people to kill themselves. for some people life really is just too hard to survive.

the fancy graph does show a rise... but that is a blunt amalgam of too many factors to conjecture.
