Well I guess we will assume they can mine 80kt until proven otherwise. Still a compelling case at 40kt though.
If your making slurry Id think more rain would be a good thing. But Im a simpledon when it comes to mining processes. At $550 per tonne you would carry it down there in buckets if you had to right!
Can be far from the Sea either ... downhill all the way ?.
