Ditto that. I am glad to have you back posting here again. There is no doubt that you are the resident ACL expert.

As we discussed elsewhere I think you were played by management in the lead up to the CR. You dont agree and are entitled to that view. I'm happy to agree to disagree and leave it at that.

This proposed split changes the ballgame completely and raises the risk profile of both stocks IMO.

Eg, if the P3 trial fails (touch wood it doesn't) an oncology co without the fonda cashflows is pretty much worthless. On the other hand imagine the SP impact on the "one product" Fonda company of just one bad batch from Dr Reddys with a subsequent product recall.

Alternatively both could be spectacularly successful in there respective ways, ie huge capital growth from a US listed effective cancer treatment and longterm steady annuity style yields from fonda. So the range of possible outcomes is greater separate than combined, ergo the risk is higer.

That's a longwinded way of saying that posters with high levels of knowledge of these companies will be more valuable that ever.

The most valuable lesson I've learnt from recent ACL history is to disregard any verbal advice from this management team whether is delivered via teleconference, over a few drinks or via insiders. Never has DYOR been truer and you have a valuable part to play in pointing others in the right direction to find that research.
