hey tex232,
commercial traders are very short Gold at these levels and most of the time they will find a way to engineer a fall in gold so they can get their shorts back at a lower level.
Even though they are not always right on the direction of the market, the commercials have an uncanny knack of being able to tigger stops to suits their positions.
This coupled with the fact that the speculative traders are very long Gold at the moment makes me favour a drop in Gold soon and then we should see the eventual resumption of the long term Gold uptrend.
