The Fin Review Online has an article recently published on the results of the meeting.
It says that Richard Cottee said that he read the outcome of the shareholder vote on the deal as showing broad shareholder support for the board.
He noted that given that only 64 per cent of shareholders had voted at all in the poll on the takeover deal, only 21 per cent had effectively voted against it.
He said this was quite a resounding endorsement of the board to a large extent.
He added that you'd have to be a brave man to bet that the board will be spilled.
