Sure does Champ. All crops do. Cotton is a big user because it is also an oilseed crop (and usually irrigated) whereby the cottonseed is also harvested and processed into vegetable oil. Oilseeds are big users of N, P and K with the exception of soybeans (being a legume makes its own N).
