I said that "honesty is my forte" - so here is the sordid truth behind my rant...

up until this morning, I was pretty much leading the HC March 2011 tipping contest (once the CSR & HFA reconstructions are accounted for)... then this morning CXY hit me like a Japanese Tsunami and swept me back to 6th!!!

ordinarily I wouldn't care, but the fact that CXY knocked me off my perch was too much to bear for two reasons;

1. my large CNX holding got battered as CNX was tarred with the dirty CXY brush after the Kingaroy mess.

2. friends of mine - who did not heed my implicit warnings about the CXY process - had their rec tums ripped out when the Kingaroy project went pear shaped.

dakook, am I envious? Not a bit - I like to invest, not to play pass the parcel!

am I happy some CXY shareholders are making money today? Sure I am - I hope they all manage to get out safely with lots of profit... however, I'm more happy that any long suffering CXY shareholders have a chance to minimise their accumulated losses!

I genuinely hope that this cougar has changed its spots, and that today is the start of a new beginning that sees CXY turn into one of Australia's premier energy companies! But I for one won't be holding my breath!!
